We are delighted to be able to accommodate all of our friends and family in the evening reception.

Important!

We are still very early on in arranging exact timings for the evening but please see below how we see the party unfolding.

Evening Guest Arrival

Guests who are arriving at 6pm for the evening reception are welcome to walk from the hotel or taxi up to the Castle Gatehouse, where security will let you through. A short walk down the great drive will bring you to the entrance to the barn on your right … you won’t miss us as you will inevitably hear us by this point!

The Reception

6:00pm-12:00am

Our evening reception will be located in the 17th Century Barn within the Allington Castle grounds.

We will have full exclusive use of the venue until 11:59pm, and the night will be filled with dancing, food and drinks! This is time to change into your dancing shoes ladies; flip flops will be available!!

Evening Food

The caterers will be providing a hog roast and buffet spread for the evening for everyone to enjoy, with alternative options for non-pork eaters!

Please note any preferences when you do your RSVP as the caterers will certainly be flexible to you and your needs.

Evening Drinks

The bar will be well stocked with a range of beers, wines, ciders and spirits and the staff will be there all night serving you everything you need. The venue drink prices are comparative to our regular Brighton drinking pubs and will accept both cash and card payments on site.

Please let us know if you drink something in particular and we can arrange for it to be present at the venue.

Getting Back to the Hotel(s)

Will and I will be departing at midnight via a pre-booked taxi to take us back to the hotel. As previously mentioned, the hotel(s) are within walking distance if you’re of the more adventurous type, but if you would prefer to book a taxi to take you away, we have been recommended Kent Express Cabs as the best one locally.
